S.A. Youth 2002 – A youth portal focusing on current issues

S.A. Youth 2002 was the platform that enabled the youth of South Africa to participate in the World Summit on Sustainable Development (WSSD) which was held in Johannesburg, South Africa from 26th August to 4th September 2002. 

The Portal offered a wide range of information leading up to the World Summit, based on the activities and progress made since the United Nations Conference on Environment and Development (UNCED) held in Rio de Janeiro in June 1992 where the Agenda 21 plan was adopted by 178 Governments.
